Thunder Bay Youth Curling is a collaborative partnership between Port Arthur Curling Centre, Fort William Curling Club, and Kakabeka Curling Club. Sessions alternate between facilities to ensure the best possible learning experience for youth curlers by capitalizing on our collective resources. Curlers are guided through a structured program to learn the fundamentals while having fun and meeting new friends!
Are you a parent and want to get involved in your child’s curling experience? We could use volunteers to help on the ice and at family events. PACC and FWCC also each host bingos at Superior Shores to raise money to support Youth Curling. To sign up or enquire, call PACC at 807-344-0111 or email info@youthcurling.com.
Are you a parent interested in learning to curl yourself? Check out our Learn to Curl League above or email membership@pacurling.com if you have any questions!

Loose Ends
Monday & Wednesday | 1:00pm – 3:00pm | starts October 21
Loose Ends started in 1995 as a recreational, afternoon league for retired or working men with afternoons free. The league prioritizes fun and fellowship over competition – teams are rearranged each series so that members get to meet and play with as many other curlers as possible during the year. This keeps the social aspect of the league at the forefront! The league is always looking for new members.
League Information:
- 35-40 games per year, depending on the number of members and dates available.
- Over 5 series during the year; teams are arranged into new draws each series.
- No curling experience is necessary; current members and the executive will always assist any newcomers.
Events:
- Christmas 2-ender funspiel
- Year-end 2-ender funspiel
- Annual Loose Ends golf tournament in June
